FAQs

Confirmed BBQ date - We're confirmed for Tuesday, June 4, 5:30pm - 8pm

Rain dates - Potential rain dates are Wednesday, June 5 or Thursday, June 6

What food and beverages will be available? - see the food tickets page for more information

How do I receive my tickets?: Advance order tickets purchased from this site will be available for pick-up at the BBQ.

How do I receive my 2 extra tickets because I purchased $20 of tickets in advance?: Thanks for your pre-order! Your 2 additional tickets will be available for pick-up at the BBQ (packaged with your purchased tickets).

What do I do if I need more tickets?: Tickets will be available for advance purchase from this site until Friday, May 31. Ending sales on May 31 allows volunteers time to "batch" tickets to make them available for pick-up at the BBQ. Tickets will also be available for purchase via cash or credit card at the BBQ.

And if I bought too many?: We encourage you to use the ticket pricing pages to accurately calculate your family's ticket needs, as refunds are not available.

How does the raffle work? - Each $1 ticket (same tickets as used for food) equals one pull of a popsicle stick. There's a mark on each popsicle stick indicating a prize category.

Tell me more about the games... - Grade 6 volunteers have designed and created field games, and will monitor the games with adult assistance. Players will receive a punch card, and completing the games will earn a small bag of candy (available by the games).

Are dogs permitted at the BBQ? - for a variety of reasons, dogs are not permitted at the BBQ. Please leave them at home for this event.

Could I bring my own reusable beverage container, plates, cutlery, and napkins? - We're pleased you asked!! Why yes, that would help cut down significantly on waste and recycling needs. Non-glass containers would be best/safest.

Will there be composting/recycling available?: We will have composting bins available for all food waste and paper food containers. Click the link to learn more about Beaconsfield's green waste management efforts

What else should I bring?: Feel free to bring your picnic blanket or lawn chairs (and maybe a re-usable container to transport your cups and plates home).
